About:

As a third-generation Monterey County local, I bring over 13 years of professional experience serving youth and families in our community. Growing up, my family emphasized community involvement, which led to my first interaction with Special Kids Connect as a high school volunteer at the organization's annual gala. Later, while working as a professional nanny for triplets, I was first exposed to the unique challenges families face when raising children with learning disabilities. 

Following that experience, I spent two years as the Memberships and Events Coordinator for the Pacific Grove Museim of Natural History, followed by a transformative six-year tenure as Executive Director of a local youth center.

My years of hands-on experience in event coordination, fundraising, program development, and behavioral support, led me to my current role as Community Programs Director at Special Kids Connect. here, I leverage my lifelong connection to the region and my leadership background to create inclusive and impactful opportunities for Monterey County families. 

What I  like best about working at Special Kids Connect:

I love seeing our participants in REACH and Neurodiverse Connect THRIVE! Their enthusiasm and genuine joy are just the best.

I have my brown belt in Japanese Juijitsu.
