STAR Toy Library is 
MOVING!
Effective December, 2024, Special Kids Connect's administrative office and STAR Toy Library will be relocated to 334 Main Street in Downtown Salinas. (MAP) After the move, families will be able to check out toys in Monterey by appointment at our new office suite at 1900 Garden Road, Suite 250.
Until the move is complete the library is accepting returns only. Check-outs will resume in December 2024.

Special Kids Connect's STAR Toy Library offers free memberships to families. STAR Toy Library is located at 1900 Garden Road, Suite 230, Monterey, CA 93940. We are also able to arrange for toy pick-up at one of our satellite locations in Salinas and Greenfield. So that we can keep family memberships FREE of charge, please keep the following in mind:
- Toys may be checked out for 2 calendar weeks. Late toys are subject to a late fee of $0.50 (50 cents) per toy, per day.
- Renewal approvals are subject to a toy's status on our waiting list. If a toy is not reserved for another family, it may be renewed ONE time, by phone, as long as the borrower calls on or before the return date.
- Please take care of the toys borrowed. Toys that are returned damaged, noticeably scuffed, or are returned with pieces that are missing are subject to a fine that equals the full replacement cost of the entire toy.
