About:

I joined Special Kids Connect in August 2025, where I serve as an Administrative Data Technician. In this role, I am often the first point of contact for families, answering phone calls and providing support in any way I can. I am also part of the FEC team as a Family Support Specialist, where I help equip parents with the tools they need to confidently advocate for themselves during IEP meetings. In addition, I am a member of the Play, Connect, Grow team, where we teach families about the importance of play in their child’s development while providing fun, interactive activities during our classes.

I am currently a student at Hartnell College majoring in Psychology and working toward my Associate’s degree. This work is especially meaningful to me because I am also a caregiver to my niece, Sofia, who has autism and holds a very special place in my life.

What I like best about working at Special Kids Connect:

What I love most about working at Special Kids Connect is knowing that I am part of an organization that does truly meaningful and important work. In my role, it is a joy welcoming families into our office, having meaningful conversations over the phone, and providing important information—whether about developmental milestones or special education.

Fun fact: 

I love going on long hikes and watching the sunset at the beach.
