I joined Special Kids Connect in May 2024 as a Community Navigator, where I support families of individuals with special needs by connecting them to resources, services, and community programs. In this role, I help families navigate education, social service systems, and community resources while providing guidance and individualized support.

I graduated from California State University, Monterey Bay in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Collaborative Health and Human Services, with a concentration in Public Health.

After being diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder at the age of 13, I gained firsthand understanding of what it feels like to navigate life with a diagnosis and how individuals are sometimes perceived or misunderstood. That experience shaped my passion for human services and motivated me to help others feel seen, supported, and empowered.

What I like best about working at Special Kids Connect:

Since I started working at Special Kids Connect, I have loved building bonds with families I have worked with. It is a heartwarming feeling being able to make an impact in families lives and to support them as they navigate both the joys and challenges that come their way. I truly value the trust they place in me, and I cherish the connections we’ve built.
