About:

I joined Special Kids Connect in July 2025 and currently serve as a Community Navigator, where I support and advocate for families of children with special needs by helping them access community resources and services. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Human Services and a minor in Psychology from California State University, Stanislaus, and I am currently completing my Master of Social Work at California State University, Monterey Bay.

Through my professional background and experience providing direct support to children and families in home, school, and community settings, I developed a strong foundation in family-centered practice, behavioral support strategies, and culturally responsive care. This background directly informs my work at Special Kids Connect and strengthens my ability to effectively guide, support, and advocate for the families I serve.

What I like best about working at Special Kids Connect:

What I enjoy most about working at SKC is building meaningful relationships with families and empowering them with the knowledge and confidence to advocate for their children.

Fun fact:

I’m an avid reader who loves exploring different genres, but psychological thrillers are my absolute favorite.
