This workshop will provide an overview of Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) Student Services available to transition-age students ages 16–21 who have an IEP, 504 Plan, or a documented disability. Participants will learn how DOR supports students in preparing for life after high school through a range of services designed to build independence, confidence, and career readiness. The presentation will cover Job Exploration, Work Readiness Training, Self-Advocacy Skills, Postsecondary Education and Career Counseling, and opportunities for a paid Work-Based Learning Experience. This session is ideal for students, families, and educators interested in supporting successful transitions to employment and post-secondary pathways.
